Please read our booking terms carefully before confirming your Kenya safari.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all bookings, enquiries, and safari services provided by Explorer Kenya Enterprise Safaris ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), a registered safari operator in Kenya. By making a booking or submitting an enquiry, you ("Client", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.
These Terms apply to all safari packages, day trips, transfers, accommodation bookings, and any other travel services we arrange on your behalf.
A booking is confirmed when:
All bookings are subject to availability. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our sole discretion. Booking confirmations are sent via email within 48 hours of deposit receipt.
All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices include the services specified in your safari itinerary and exclude:

We accept bank transfer, credit card (Visa/Mastercard), and PayPal. A 3% surcharge applies to credit card payments.
Cancellations must be made in writing to info@explorerkenya-enterprise.com. The following cancellation fees apply based on the number of days before departure:
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation costs.
Amendments to confirmed bookings may be possible subject to availability and may incur an administration fee of $50 per change. Changes to departure dates within 30 days may be treated as cancellations per Section 4. We reserve the right to alter itineraries due to factors beyond our control (weather, park closures, road conditions, etc.).

Explorer Kenya Enterprise acts as an agent for hotels, lodges, airlines, and other service providers. We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, expense, or inconvenience arising from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, pandemic, wildlife encounters, or actions of third-party service providers.
Our liability shall not exceed the total cost of the safari services booked through us. We are not responsible for consequential losses including missed flights or business losses.
We strongly recommend and require that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance prior to travel. Insurance should cover medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal liability. We will not accept liability for losses that would have been covered by adequate insurance.
Safari activities involve inherent risks associated with wildlife and outdoor environments. By participating in safari activities, you acknowledge these risks and agree to follow all safety instructions from our guides. Photography and behaviour guidelines near wildlife must be strictly observed for your safety and conservation purposes.
We shall not be liable for any failure to perform obligations under these Terms where such failure results from causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, government actions, war, pandemics, or infrastructure failures. In such cases, we will endeavour to offer alternative dates or credit for future travel.
Any complaints during the safari should be reported to your guide or our emergency contact immediately so we can resolve issues promptly. Post-safari complaints should be submitted in writing within 30 days of return to info@explorerkenya-enterprise.com.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
